Sydney born Catherine Alcorn is a multi award-winning artist, presenter, producer, podcaster, Artistic Director and one of Australia's most in-demand entertainers, renowned for her powerhouse vocals and razor sharp wit.

Sydney born Catherine Alcorn is an award winning artist, producer and Artistic Director who works extensively in theatre, cabaret and television.
As an artist, Catherine has produced and performed in national and international tours of her own stage shows The Divine Miss Bette, Go Your Own Way: The Story of Christine McVie, Cathartic and 30 Something and is a regular fixture in Festival programs including Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Sydney Festival, Sydney Mardi Gras and as Ambassador for Noosa Long Weekend and Ballarat Cabaret Festival in 2014/15. During her appointment as Ambassador, both festivals broke attendance and box office records.
As a host, Catherine Em Cees for renowned international brands including the TEDx Sydney live-streamed after party in 2021 and 2022 at the Sydney Opera House. She is the first artist to be invited back across consecutive years.
In 2018 Catherine made her triumphant USA and Sydney Opera House debut in her most famous role as The Divine Miss Bette, winning her the Best Cabaret Production in the 2018 Broadway World Awards. The show went on to perform two sold out seasons at Darlinghurst Theatre Company in 2023. The show is the second highest selling production of the 2024 Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
In 2020, and in response to COVID-19, Catherine and her team of Sydney producers, launched The Reservoir Room, a virtual venue from Paddington Town Hall for a five week season, live streaming a brand new variety show Friday Night Live (directed by Ted Robinson and co-hosted with Rodger Corser) and Saturday evening cabaret and live music hours. This project kept over 45 of Sydney’s live entertainment industry workers employed.
In 2021, Catherine premiered "PAUL & CATHERINE SING TOGETHER" at the Adelaide Fringe Festival receiving 5 star reviews winning Best Cabaret Show in the Weekly Fringe Awards.
As a commercial theatre producer, Catherine's credits include Creative Director of Slide Lounge (2010 - 2014), Slide Cabaret Festivals (2011 - 2013), From Sydney With Love: A Concert for Orlando at Sydney Town Hall (2016), High Standards for the Actor Benevolent Fund (City Recital Hall 2019) and in October 2017 launched Glen Street Theatre's inaugural Cabaret In The Glen program in the role of Artistic Director. Her television production credits include The Today Show (NINE Network), Making Australia Happy (ABC) and Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure (HARPO).
Since founding Tenacious C Presents, Catherine has produced and delivered multiple tours and productions to regional theatres and festivals across Australia.
